 Natural Kerala Cuisine We offer food that is not just a joy to the senses, but delicious colorful cuisine that is also medicine. We cook with Ayurvedic principles in mind when we prepare your meals. Vitality and wholesomeness come from eating nutrient rich foods and juices. Breakfasts can be as simple as toast and tea, or maybe a papaya, mango, banana, pineapple fruit salad - or even savor the healthy Kerala breakfast of "puttu" a wheat and coconut cake that's wonderful with fruit or the a spicy coconut curry. We serve a variety of herbal teas with medicinal value, and well as our own version of the classic Indian chai Kerala rice is tasty and nutritious for lunch with a spicy dahl and lemon chutney, or fresh seafood prepared to order. The food is fresh and hygienically prepared with the needs of the foreign visitor in mind. Our premises are meticulously cleaned daily - we strive to have our center reflect your own process of cleansing. The clean and untainted salt air and the deep and relaxing peace you'll find at Gopal's encourages one to breathe deep and let go of wordly cares. This is a safe place for women, as a women own and run the center. We follow Ayurvedic tradition in that only women massage women and only men massage men.
